Today, I met my cousin Frankie for breakfast at Mike's Unicorn Diner. I miss the New York and New Jersey diners. We talked for almost three hours, and there was plenty of catching up to do.
I spent the afternoon with my brother in law catching up on Tulsa King.
In the evening, I went to Lorenzo's Restaurant Cabaret with my sister Connie to see The Chicklettes and Vinnie Medugno. My cousin Ricky was also there. What a great show. The Chicklettes performed a bunch of dance songs and did four Dusty Springfield songs, plus others. They did a fantastic job. Vinnie sang a lot of oldies and absolutely nailed Cara Mia by Jay Black and The Americans. He also did great versions of songs by Dion, the Righteous Brothers, Gene Pitney, Tony Orlando, and others. It was a terrific night.
Day 42
I spent the day with my brother in law, my sister Roseann, my nephew George, and my nieces, Pam and Lianna. I also got to meet my grand nephew, Augustus. He is a beautiful baby.
We went to Jade Island for dinner. I have not been there in about forty years. It was as great as I remember it.
